I love these touchstone views along our Northern California coastal landscape. Moments you are lost in, enjoying foothills, mountains, valleys and forested areas, but then suddenly a sneaky peak of the ocean will pop into your view, reminding you where you really are or where you may be going. The hills of this painting capture those spring and summer months when the landscape is green and lush with the colorful life of wildflowers and the path is easy to loose yourself in.
