I have spent a lot of time hiking in the redwoods the last couple months and I wanted to create a forest piece reflecting the forest smell and mid morning time when some light fog is lifting out and colors are revealing themselves as bright. Every time of day and season in the redwoods is magic for its own reasons!

This is a one of a kind painting, layering screen printing and hand painting. Acrylic with screen printing on cotton. The wrapping of this panel reveal a hand dyed cotton patterning with natural dyes which I dyed at Rebecca Saylor Studio in Petaluma. This piece is signed and presented on a wood panel which is ready to hang.
