In Sonoma County I am surrounded by vineyards but they don’t often make such prominent features in my work. This year I took a trip out to the valley to do a photo shoot for a commission piece and I was inspired to make this print right away. The rolling hills, wildflowers, oaks, wind, soaring birds and geese all begged to be captured in this piece. There was so much more to be inspired by in the landscape that perhaps I will have to come back to it soon.

The piece is composed of 19 separate layers of silk screening with acrylic screen inks on archival paper. Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, sold unframed, and presented with finished edges.
